Danny Nelson joined PFM Asset Management in 2002 and is currently a director in the Midwest region. He manages relationships for various clients in Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota. He helps municipal governments, school districts and other public authorities with cash flow analysis and overall investment needs. He provides investment advisory and consulting services, develops investment policies and monitors guidelines and strategy implementation. Danny provides clients with training and technical and analytical support with respect to their investment portfolios.

Stacy joined PFM Asset Management in 2023 as an institutional sales and relationship manager in the Minneapolis office. She is responsible for managing client relationships in the upper Midwest, assisting municipalities, school districts and other public entities with their overall investment needs. She provides a range of investment advisory and consulting services, including advising clients in investment pools, structuring investment portfolios, cash flow forecasting and investment policy development.

Stacy has a wide range of public finance experience. Most recently, she led a treasury management sales team and the municipal solutions team for a regional bank. She also worked for over 15 years as a municipal advisor, advising public sector clients on the issuance of debt to finance a wide variety of capital projects.

Stacy is a member of numerous government and education finance organizations. She is a past member of Minnesota Women in Public Finance and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Matt joined PFM Asset Management in 2024 as an institutional sales and relationship manager in the Minneapolis office. He is responsible for managing client relationships in the upper Midwest, assisting municipalities, school districts and other institutional entities with their overall investment needs. He provides a range of investment advisory and consulting services, including advising clients in investment pools, structuring investment portfolios, cash flow forecasting and investment policy development.

Matt has a wide range of institutional investment experience. Prior to joining PFMAM, he worked at Allspring Global Investments where he focused on large public and corporate entities invested in fixed income, equity, and liquidity strategies. He previously worked in several roles for Wells Fargo Institutional Retirement and Trust helping grow the firm’s business in defined contribution and defined benefit administration, trust & custody services and OCIO solutions.

Matt enjoys volunteering in his community, and he is currently a committee member and treasurer for a Northern Star Scouts BSA Troop and enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams.

Amber Cannegieter joined PFM Asset Management in 2013 as a Key Account Manager for PFMAM. As a Key Account Manager, Amber’s primary responsibility is to provide customer service in everyday functions such as onboarding and new client administration and also to serve as a client advocate, providing a “high touch, high value” experience, whatever the client’s additional needs may be.

Amber has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Pennsylvania State University and is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered representative holding Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses.
